about

recorded before, during, and shortly after a small tour of England (a Tuesdays Post gig in Letchworth and one in London). The stylistically quite diverse sketches and pieces, all improvised, can be seen as a showcase for the kind of music I find myself creating at the end of 2014.

Many thanks to Georgina Brett, Michael Bearpark, and Andrew Ostler from Tuesdays Post for making this possible.

Many thanks to the people whose sounds are included here as field recordings without asking them: the man who told everyone that he is the son of Michael Jackson and Madonna; the bagpipe player, playing alone in the light of Piccadilly Circus; the saxophone player in the tube station; subway announcements; children in the British Museum; and again, Robin Kahn singing Jesus Christ Superstar, but digitally mangled beyond recognition here
