A detail from my set at the 1st International Livelooping Festival in Cologne. The track is a "classical" ambient soundscape using a midified guitar and mellotron samples. I still used a rack full of hardware loopers and effects.
This was the first festival that I organized myself. On stage in order of appearance: Michael Peters, Michael Frank, Harald Sack Ziegler, Fabio Anile, Craig Green, Luis Angulo, Markus Reuter, Stefan Tiedje, Fear Falls Burning, Rick Walker.
Thanks to the musicality and large variety of styles, and of the enthusiasm and work of the musicians and some helping friends it worked out pretty good, the festival was well attended, the audience loved it (as far as I heard), and thanks to our sponsors (the Kulturamt of Cologne and the SK Stiftung Kultur), I could even pay everyone afterwards which made us even more happy.
